Capture without breaking flow
Park a note or task in seconds so the notebook stays scratch paper — not the system of record.
Open Capture
Press / anywhere in the app when you are not typing in a field. Or use ⌘K / Ctrl+K. On mobile, use the centre Capture control.
Type the follow-up. Choose Note or Task.
Link when you can
Search and select an engagement so the capture lands on the right matter. F-Practice remembers your last link.
For tasks, set a due date if it belongs on Home’s queue.
What “good” feels like
If Capture is faster than unlocking your phone notes, the habit will stick.
Review linked notes on the engagement’s Activity tab the next time you open that job.
